Buruburu Sports Football Club is a social organization that has been in operation since 2005. The club began with an u-12 team, who together graduated to the u-14 team and subsequently into the u-17, u-20 and are now in the senior team.
The senior team has gone on to represent the club, and Buruburu at large in the District league, rising steadily over the years through the sub-County, County, Nairobi Regional and gained promotion into the National Division 2 league in 2018. After just one season in the National Div 2, The team beat all odds to rise again to the National Division 1 for the 2019 season, only two steps from the Apex Kenya Premier League.
